Description
The DJI AP100 Parachute for Matrice 400 is DJI Enterprise’s first dedicated parachute system, designed to enhance operational safety and support regulatory compliance for professional Matrice 400 missions.
Featuring an independent power supply, full-link redundancy, automatic and manual deployment, and an integrated Flight Termination System (FTS), the AP100 can stop the aircraft motors and initiate parachute deployment in less than 600 ms under specified test conditions.
With a minimum effective deployment altitude of 30 meters and a stabilized descent speed below 5 m/s, it is designed to help protect the aircraft, payloads, and reduce ground impact during emergency situations.

Minimum Effective Altitude
|
30 m is the minimum vertical altitude required for the parachute to stabilize aircraft descent below 5 m/s under the specified test conditions.

Deployment Below 30 m

The parachute may still eject below 30 m, but it may not fully inflate in time to adequately slow the aircraft.
